Fantastic dinner variety with excellent attentive service. The Halloween-themed dinner show was a good touch, showcasing the staff's effort to enhance our stay.

Hospitable and attentive staff, and excellent food!!!
Simply no reason to complain, very lovely stay. The hotel was well-maintained and pleasant with magnificent location close enough to the police station, and barmy Benidorm. Amazing customer care, parking onsite. Well-maintained pool.

The breakfast served fantastic poached eggs, but cleaning around the pool area could improve. Enjoyed themed dinner nights.

Everything was very satisfactory. The rooms were comfortable and the food was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very well designed and public areas were very comfy. Pool area had plenty of sunbeds and toilet facilities were near so that you didn't have to go into the hotel. Snacks were available at reasonable prices, as were the drinks. A very satisfactory stay and would return again to the hotel.

friendly staff made it special
Upon arrival, Jackie at the reception greeted us with warmth, ready to assist at any moment. The cheerful cleaner added a lovely touch to our mornings.
Although the dining experience was generally pleasant, sometimes the temperature of the food could have been improved, a minor drawback during our mealtime.

The breakfast was a game changer-freshly cooked eggs and pancakes made the mornings delightfully scrumptious. Plus, the staff were chatty and super helpful, really making us feel at home.
While the noise from nearby demolition was a bit of a bother, the overall vibe and service made it all shine bright.

It was really 500 m from beach as they promised. I had full board (bracfest, lunch, dinner) and it was very good and very much, ecpecialy deserts, they have live music at 21-30 4 times for week. Pool and facilities are good
It is impossible to rent anything for beach (towels, chairs ect), you have to bye them, because it cost 4 euro per day to rent parasol and deck- chair at the beach

The Hotel Castilla was excellently placed for both old and new towns, it was absolutely spotlessly clean and the staff were lovely, extremely polite and helpful - in fact I would say it's the best hotel I've stopped in in Benidorm (and there have been many!), I would definitely return there and in fact I'm looking at maybe booking another break there for May 2012. One other thing, although the hotel was only 6/7 minutes walk away from the nightlife, it was very very quiet and there seemed to be older people staying there, no stag or hen parties etc , and no noise at night when you wanted to sleep. I really enjoyed my stay :-)

Warm welcome on arrival, staff are very friendly and cater to all needs. No young families while we stayed and found the location very quiet and relaxing. The restaurant provided a good menu choice during meal times, and if you purchased wine with your meal they would cork your wine for later use if required.Although in a quiet area you are only minutes away from bars, restaurants and other entertainments. The beach is roughly about a 10 minute walk away. If we ever return to Benidorm we would not hesitate to stay at this excellent hotel again.
When leaving your room and taking your room key/card, upon returning we found the power was off in the room. The card operates both power and electronic safe lock and if leaving the room, had to take card for safety reasons due to having valuables in safe. This results in the air-conditioning going off when you are out, and the room can be extremely warm on return. A good idea would be to have a separate supply to air conditioning system.

Pool area cleanliness left something to be desired, with leaves and debris often visible, some noise from nearby demolition work

The hotel was excellent and the people were fantastic. Alison Scott was exceptionally helpful and deserves stand out praise. The food was exceptional. We will definitely return again.
I just can't think of anything although it would be nicer if the bar was open a little later.

It was very clean and the food was good, it was at a good location away from the busy area.It also had wifi access.
Although it is rated as 4stars, it is not, I would rate 3 star. The reason being the non provision of sun bed towels ( there was a charge of 12 euro) and the sun beds being uncomfortable. The guest also had to pay for the use of the room safe.
